THE NUTCRACKER
The
Mid-Columbia Ballet's most popular performance is its
annual production of
"The Nutcracker," with a cast of 170.
It's a holiday tradition
playing to over 8,000 Mid-Columbians
(6% of the region's population) each year.
The Mid-Columbia Ballet first performed parts of The Nutcracker
with the Mid-Columbia
Symphony and the American Festival Ballet
in 1973, and produced its first
full length "Nutcracker" in 1976.
